Challenge
Maintenance
recognises the importance of security in relation to your
credit or debit card details and for that reason we use Socket
Layer technology to encrypt all your personal data and a
secure server to process your order. The technology converts
the characters you enter onto the screen into pieces of code
that are then securely transmitted over the Internet. No
credit or debit card details are held on our servers so that
if in the unlikely event that our servers are "hacked", your
details will still be safe.
Cookies are small files we can send to your
browser and which are stored on your computer's hard drive.
The computer will store an identifying code in the Cookie
which means you do not need to type in your address each time
you place an order. In order for a Cookie to be used in this
way, you must enable it by ticking the box on the relevant
page. Other than this, we do not store your address or any
other information in the Cookie, or use it for any other
purpose.
